Join writer and teaching artist Kristen Zory King at The Potter’s House for a fast paced generative writing workshop to help shake you out of a creative rut and get words on the page. Throughout our ninety minute session we will create and remix our own work together and as a group through writing prompts and card games. You do not need to be an experienced writer or poet to participate—beginners, journal-ers, and award winning creatives of all genres are all welcome.

This workshop is $20 with a “pay what you can” option available for all participants. Ticket transfers are available but refunds are not available at this time. That thing you’ve always wanted to write? It’s not going to write itself. And listen, we get it, it can be incredibly hard to find time to yourself, let alone time be creative.

Join writer and teaching artist Kristen Zory King at The Potter's House for Write On! a dedicated time and space each month to sit in the company of other writers and, well, write. At the beginning of each session, writers will be given an optional creative prompt to guide their writing time and each session will close with a brief opportunity to share, if desired.

This event is free, in part, thanks to the generous support of the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities. Donations appreciated. Writers of all levels are encouraged to participate.
