We ❤️ Donated Books!

The Potter’s House DC loves books of all shapes, sizes, and subjects! Donate your used books to us, and we’ll handle the rest.

Some Guidelines for Donating:

• We accept titles of all genres, but please avoid donating textbooks, instructional manuals, or multimedia (think CDs, DVDs, cassette tapes). While we love that you’d love to share educational materials, our visitors are not often seeking these titles.

• Books should be gently used and in good condition. Books with writing inside, highlighted pages, torn or deeply cracked spines, moisture damage, or dry rot cannot be accepted.

• Books that we cannot use will be processed and sent to Better World Books, our partner for excess books and books for recycling. What we don’t keep, they’ll find the best use for!

• Donated materials will be offered to our visitors at a discounted price of $8 or for free on our Community Book Nook located in our Community Room.
