We shared last week that we stand in solidarity with our Black neighbors in the fight against systemic racism, white supremacy, and the historic oppression of the Black community - especially right here in DC. We want to reiterate our commitment to supporting the Movement for Black Lives and the ongoing protests around the country.
There is still much work to be done: Breonna Taylor's murderers have not been held accountable, the names of the officers who murdered Tony McDade have yet to be released, and countless injustices against Black Americans persist, from the individual to systemic level.
Some ways you can help:
Listen to local leaders of Black-led organizations and lift up their demands.
Become a monthly contributor instead of a one-time contributor to the organization you most recently donated to.
Continue your learning!
We're continuously updating the book section of our website to reflect what we have in stock. Also, audiobooks are available even when print copies aren't -- visit our Libro.fm storefront for a vast array of antiracist books.
