DROOM Theatre Company shares with us OUD, their new docudrama centered around Washington, DC's opioid epidemic. Amidst a global pandemic and social unjust, awareness and education on socioeconomic divides and environmental stressors is increasing. OUD begins to dive into the hidden truths not shared in accessible research data, the science behind addiction, the effects of environmental stress, and divulge stories of resilience and the rewarding journey of recovery.
