Substance Misuse & Recovery Awareness: Patrice’s Journey from Prison to Power
Join us at The Potter’s House to hear from Patrice Gaines about her journey through recovery to become a writer, abolitionist, and public speaker. This event is offered by The Potter’s House in sequence with a number of other programs and initiatives designed to reduce stigma and raise awareness around opioid misuse in our community.
Attendees will engage with Ms. Gaines as she shares her personal story of drug misuse and recovery, and learn about harm reduction and recovery efforts taking place at The Potter’s House. Narcan and Fentanyl Test Strips will be available for attendees to take home for free.
