  • The Potter's House 1658 Columbia Road Northwest Washington United States (map)

Join The Potter's House on Tuesday, November 12, from 6 PM to 8 PM for a discussion with the 1619 Project that explores how not only slave-owners but our entire country created cultural norms, business practices, and laws that allowed slavery to flourish and that still affect life in the United States today; and discuss avenues for action. RSVP here!

You can read the full 1619 Project here and listen to the 1619 Podcast from the New York Times Daily here.

The 1619 Project Study Group is a creation of the Racial Justice Collective Mission Group, which meets weekly to discuss our life experiences as they pertain to race, as well and how we can be change agents for justice in our communities. They welcome people of all ethnicity, religions, genders and sexual orientations to join them.
