Tap Into Vulnerability and Courage

Have you noticed how often our stories of money are tangled up with shame? Using the work of Brené Brown, we will explore how vulnerability and courage guide us to a more healthy relationship with money and a more joyful practice of stewardship.

Workshop leader Rev. Roy W. Howard keeps money discussions open as pastor of Saint Mark Presbyterian Church in North Bethesda, MD. His broad range of church and community service includes gun violence prevention and a decade of leadership in Jewish-Christian dialogue in the Washington, DC, area. He has led mission trips to Haiti, Israel, and Mexico as well leadership of pastors seeking to strengthen their leadership skills. Recently, with his colleague Shelby Etheridge Harasty, Roy has offered national stewardship seminars on Vulnerability, Shame, Courage – The Path to Gratitude, Joy, and Generosity.
