Palestinian Tales: A Storytelling Workshop
hosted by DC Palestinian FIlm & Arts Festival and Palestinians Podcast
Since 2015, the Boston-based Palestinians Podcast has hosted a series of live storytelling events, where 5-8 storytellers share their truths, trials, triumphs, and tribulations. Palestinians Podcast frequently partners with festivals, museums and student groups, and is partnering with the DC Palestinian Film and Arts Festival to bring a unique Palestinian perspective to the District.
The DCPFAF will host a FREE storytelling workshop with Palestinians Podcast at 2 p.m. on Sunday July 30th at The Potter's House. Participants will explore the art and importance of storytelling, discover the essentials of good storytelling, and work to build their own narrative by discussing topics of identity, culture, community and struggle. Workshop participants may be invited to perform their story on stage at Palestinians, Live! during the 2017 DCPFAF this October.
