Solidarity with Standing Rock

Solidarity with Standing Rock

Not all of us can go to Standing Rock but we can still work in solidarity!

Come to Potters House Dec. 6th as we hear from Jordan Marie Daniels, of the DC Stands with Standing Rock Coalition, and share resources explaining what being in solidarity means, how to be an effective ally/accomplice, and how we can all be in action.

This event takes place just after the Army Corp issued evacuation notice of the Oceti Sakowin Camp set for Dec. 5th. We will update on what is happening in the #NoDAPL movement and share resources to educate others, and support and fundraise for our Water Protectors.

Paint, Pack & Plan

All week long Potter’s House will be collecting donations to send to Standing Rock.

Check out our item lists and bring us goods to support water protectors through the winter.

We’re making banners!

Want to show solidarity through art?

Artists, cultural workers, people willing to get paint on their hands...come create with us!

We will use the banners and posters in upcoming Dec. 10th Rally

And will send them to Standing Rock after rally.

Plan Local

The standing rock movement is not just in North Dakota. Learn what work can taken to protect water in your neighborhood, and make connections with organizers here in DC to plan next steps.

This is what solidarity looks like
