DC Stampede Letter Writing

DC Stampede Letter Writing

Join us in writing to some of the many people who have been locked up. Whether targeted for their participation in social movements and protests, or victims of the mass incarceration of black, brown, and poor people, these prisoners are our siblings, neighbors, and allies. A letter of solidarity can lift someone’s spirits and give them a vital connection to news from outside, as well as give us a direct window into the U.S. “justice” system.

We’ll provide all the materials and a quick “how to” for anyone who would like some guidance. If you are already in touch with a prisoner, you can use the time to correspond with them. If you aren’t, we’ll have list of names and addresses.
