Coffeehouse and Restaurant

The oldest church-related coffeehouse in America!

Our Chefs

Mary, Meade, and Christine
prepare wonderful fare
from our kitchen.

The Potter’s House was the first mission of the Church of the Saviour. Exciting things have been happening around our tables for 44 years. Out of discussions here many missions have been born.

Guests at buffet

Guests enjoy our
healthy lunch buffet.

Over food for body and soul, people come to find community and search for meaningful spirituality. We meet Christ here each day through meeting with each other, meeting the people of the Adams Morgan neighborhood, and visitors from afar.

Come in for lunch with us.

Between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. we serve homemade hot lunch specials, salad bar, one of our soups, and fresh baked bread. Top it off with delicious deserts made fresh daily in our kitchen. We have, of course, wonderful coffee, a variety of fruit juices, an assortment of teas. Our homemade desserts range from pecan pie, apple and other fruit pies, carrot cake, pound cake, brownies and ice cream. Our milkshakes and orange freezes are to die for! Come and 'break bread' with us!

Please contact administrator@pottershousedc.org for more information about our coffeehouse and restaurant.
