Then, this is the workshop for you. You’ll be able to share your frustrations in a confidential setting with others. We will move quickly beyond venting. You will discover the similarities and differences between your situation and others’. We’ll examine the root causes and systemic reasons why nonprofits face common challenges. Then, we’ll explore ways for you to survive your nonprofit and change it for the better. We’ll do all of this with a bit of interactive fun and laughter. Hopefully, we’ll build a community for support.
Rosita Choy worked for 23 years on staff of various nonprofits…and lived to tell the tales. Now, as a consultant and coach, she is dedicated to creating sustainable organizational cultures. She also specializes in burn-out prevention and recovery. As an Asian-American who immigrated from Latin America, grew up working class, and came out as a lesbian, she is keenly aware of the way race, gender, class, sexual orientation, ability, and immigration status affect our everyday interactions.
