Bring your kids out for storytime! Led each month by volunteer readers from the neighborhood, your children will enjoy a reading that sparks the imagination, broadens the mind, and most of all makes us all smile and laugh. This month's Children's Storytime will feature the play, Miss Gracieux's Garden
Storytime is geared towards children 0-6 but all ages are welcome. Come spend the morning with us, grab a coffee beverage, and try something on our brunch menu. In fact, bring the whole family! Storytime is held in our community room to provide a safe space for children to engage the story and each other in a welcoming and inviting environment.
Miss Gracieux's Garden is set in the “real world” and revolves around a young triangle who feels alienated in the world full of squares. In an attempt to be accepted and hoping to receive an invite to the “super cool and awesome picnic” the bully Petite Brute is throwing, Lae-Lae accepts a dare to go to the witches house at the far end of town. As it turns out this witch isn’t what Lae-Lae thought, as she embarks on a journey of self discovery, she learns to be flexible, not to assume, and to pull herself out of misery, all while taking a stroll throughMiss Gracieux’s Garden.
