Taizeé candles
Taizé Community worships on Mondays 7 – 8pm.
The Taizé Community in France has developed a beautiful, simple, repetitive and therefore contemplative style of chant. Praying through these chants helps us enter silence in midst of the inner city. Come join us for song, scripture, and silence. We have been meeting weekly since January 2000 and lead the annual Good Friday service. For questions, call Sam Miller 202-832-2772 or Carolyn Bluemle 301-588-2925. All are welcome.

Taizé prayer
Friends of Jesus worships on Thursdays at 5:30 PM.
This church was started by Gordon Cosby in 1999 as a new way to come together for meaningful dialogue and practice of scripture where it applies to relationships that break down barriers of race and class. Worship includes simple gospel style hymns, prayer, and scripture reflection over a full dinner.
